“For the Spirit that God gave us does not make us timid (fear), but gives us power, love and self-discipline” 2 Timothy 1:7

“The Just shall live by Faith.” Habakkuk 2:4

Those who are with us are more than those who are with them. 2Kings 6:16

We see a picture of protection in the verse above. Elisha’s servant saw why his master could be so confident in the face of what seemed to be impending disaster.

The Lord opened the eyes of the young man and he saw an invisible army of horses and chariots of fire ready to protect the Israelites from the Syrian army.

As children of God we should ask for the grace for our eyes to be opened up so that we can move ahead with confidence, even when the battle seems too great.

We must still trust the Lord, for it’s not by might nor power but by the spirit of the Lord. Take comfort in the words of Elisha “those who are with us are more than those who are with them”.

With God behind us and his arms beneath us, we can face whatever lies ahead of us. Stay blessed!

We live through his power; we have our being through his name without his name we are nothing.

It is his strength that keeps us going even in difficult times.

We have been given victory through our savior Jesus Christ he who gave us life in abundance and to the fullest.

It is the Victory at Golgotha on the cross at Calvary that stands out for us.

The fact that death could not contain him we also are assured of that power to conquer storms that may rise in our lives.

With the Lord on our side victory is certain even when the odds may seem otherwise.

It Is the Lord who goes before us to make straight the crooked places in our lives, so we are assured of conquering our foes even when it may seem like it’s impossible for with the Lord nothing is impossible.

Know that I am God, who sent Moses unto Pharaoh to set free the children of Israel, the same God who was with Elijah when he destroyed the prophets of Baal.

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.’’ I Corinthians 15:57Stay blessed
