Royal Harare Golf Club, golfer Robson Chinhoi has done it again, winning three major tournamnets in two months.
His recent being the Tusker Malt Uganda Golf Pro Open he won on Saturday.
This is the second time he has won the same Cup after taking home the 2020 title, while also becoming the first Zimbabwean to ever win the Cup.
Chinhoi amassed a total of 11-under par 277 gross in 72 holes of action played in four rounds.
After day two of the tour, Chinhoi was leading after he played a 2-under 70.
He registered 7 birdies on holes 2, 8, 10, 14, 15, 16, and 17 with 7 par scores as well on holes 1, 3, 4, 7, 9, 11, and 18.
He had 3 bogies on holes 5, 6, and 12 with a double bogie on 13.
But before that, he had opened with a 3-under 69.
On day three, he registered a 6-under 66 gross score during round three to better his two earlier rounds of 69 and 70 on Day 1 and 2, respectively.
During the third round, he registered five birdies (1, 2, 8, 13, and 14) and an eagle on 17.
He had 11 par scores on 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, and 18 with a single bogie on 15.
In total, he scored a total of 19 birdies and 3 eagles, 37 pars, 12 bogies, and 1 double bogie.
Chinhoi had led on Day Two with a two-stroke difference that he extended by a further three to five strokes.
The 2022 victory in Uganda comes after yet another sweet win in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) last month.
Before that, he had won the Kinshasa Open at the Golf Club de Kinshasa in the DRC in September.
“I am happy to have won yet again in Uganda, coming from the victory in Lubumbashi, DR Congo. This year, we have had limited tournaments, but I look forward to the upcoming Safari Tour,” he added.
