Mai TT shocked social media streets when she announced her reconciliation with Tinashe Maphosa after their big fallout.

She said she was getting back with her husband because they sacrificed a lot in their union.

“Imagine kubudisa 100k pamuchato, kuhire Kelly Kumalo, kutengerwa muchato kuZBC, kupindana nezvikwereti nekubroka, kurovana, kutukana, kurwiswa, kurwara kuonda, kusungisana tozorambana after 3 months. Hondo yacho inenge yakasika kupera. The Maphosa’s season 1,” posted Mai TT on her facebook page.

This move came after a fallout about money as Mai TT claimed that she had used her personal savings to finance her wedding expecting Tinashe Maphosa to pay her back as per their agreement.

She went live on Facebook in various instances saying Tinashe Maphosa was violent and abusive.

“He used to lock doors and abuse me physically, emotionally and verbally knowing that I had no relatives to help me in America. Akandinongedzera nebanda akati do a live and tell people that you are ok,” said Mai TT in a live hosted by Tatelicious Karigamombe.

Apparently Tinashe Maphosa had denied having borrowed money from Mai TT towards the wedding. In a leaked family audio, he said Mai TT had borrowed money without his consent and was now expecting him to pay it back.

“This person hamumuzive. Zvese zvaari kutaura izvi zvinhu zvaakaita akanokwereta mari dzake achitarisira kuti inini ndozomubhadharira. Zvese zve pressure zvaarikuita zvekuda kudai so kuda kukanganisa mhuri dzose. I don’t understand why you guys really enjoy this kuti muno adder munhu akadaro mu group,” said Tinashe Maphosa.

The whole issue attracted public attention as other female socialites who were now regretting, took it upon themselves to support Mai TT in her sorrowful times. Zuva Urban Tete and Tatelicious are among those who expressed their regrets.

“Haayas ane Benzi nderake kudzana unopururudza. Zviya takati muregeyi haapenge musamubate, let her heal and let her get back on her feet, muchamuona…Hoyo!Good girl penga udzoke.Varume vana vadiki.   Mukadzi chaiye anoshingirira imba yake See you pa Paper 2 I mean season 2,” said Zuva on her Facebook page in reaction to Mai TT and Tinashe’s reconciliation.

A Gofundme was also created by Christine Savanhu and Ketty Masomera in an effort to help Mai TT recover the money she lost

Mai TT’s post announcing that she was back with her husband left people thinking that everything was staged to gain money and fans as she called the fallout a Season 1.

“They create drama and record phone calls, publish them, make people get involved. I always wonder if there was any wedding in the beginning or these are just publicity stunts now, we see where it’s taking us,” said Steven Nyarirangwe one of her Facebook followers.

“I think this was another publicity stunt and we all fell for it,” said another fan Grace Mangaliso.
